My Client is a fast-paced, profitable, online web business located on
the Bay in South San Francisco. My Client is the leading online service
for life scientists, serving hundreds of thousands of researchers with
a comprehensive buyer´s guide, science news, reviews of new research
technologies, and other informative content.
We are looking for a sales professional to join the team. The ideal
candidate will have a natural, consultative sales approach and be
pro-active in driving revenues and increasing our client base. If you have

Responsibilities include:
Proactively prospect, qualify, and manage an account list
Meet sales goals and increase revenue
Develop and maintain successful business relationships with clients
Analyze and communicate campaign results to clients
Create and report quarterly forecasts
Collaborate interdepartmentally to ensure contract fulfillment
Ability to travel to local and nationwide trade shows and conferences
Minimum Requirements:
Motivated, self-starter interested in career development
Results-driven and eager to create new business opportunities.
Positive and team-oriented
BA or BS in Advertising, Marketing, or Life Sciences
2+ years of sales experience in online or advertising sales and a BS or
course work in Life Sciences OR 2+ years of science-related work
experience with the personal aptitude and drive to become a successful sales
representative
Excellent communication and strong analytical skills
Successful account management or customer service experience preferred
Familiarity with Life Science products a definite plus
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word,
PowerPoint etc.)
Excellent Work and/or Academic References
Base + Commission + 100% Benefits = $130k+
