Account Executive

Sony Pictures Entertainment is a leading creator and distributor of
entertainment products, services and technology. Our global operations
encompass motion picture production and distribution, television
programming and syndication, home video acquisition and distribution, operation
of studio facilities, development of new entertainment technologies and
distribution of filmed entertainment.
We are looking for an Account Executive to join our talented team. The
primary responsibilities of this position are generating leads,
selling inventory, maintaining deals and managing inventory related to all
digital inventory across online initiatives.
This position will sit at the Crackle, Inc. offices in Sausalito and
will report to Vice President of Digital Ad Sales in New York City.
Responsibilities:
• Sell digital inventory
o For all online initiatives, to agencies and clients (direct) in major
west coast markets (LA, San Francisco, Seattle)
o Present to and meet with new and existing clients to pitch online ad
opportunities
o Negotiate unit rates as well as the mix of inventory to prospective
clients
o Develop general and customized solutions / presentations for clients
in addition to developing sales strategies to grow sales revenue
o Consult with both Research and senior management to develop sales
strategies and sales presentations
• Manage digital sales pipeline:
o Develop, manage and expand the roster of prospective clients for all
online initiatives
o Build active contacts across online agencies and clients for the west
cost region (LA, San Francisco and Seattle respectively). This will
include contacts at multiple levels from buyers to senior management
o Identify key brands that fit the demos and value proposition of each
online initiative and developing contacts and relationship with the
agencies (or clients direct) who manage those brands.
o Prospect, in conjunction with senior management and supported by
Research, in order to strategically target accounts
o Nurture of agencies and clients into revenue-generating accounts
Qualifications:
• Strong background in online digital sales
• In-depth knowledge of the online industry, emerging technology and
integration of advertisers online
• Robust base client and digital agency contacts and relationships
• Ability to work independently & think strategically
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills are essential
• Strong, professional negotiation and dispute resolution skills
