HR Manager

We have opportunity for a hands-on HR Manager who can provide HR
leadership and consultation to business leaders and line managers on the
strategic and people related matters impacting their organization. This
individual will work collaboratively with leaders and managers to turn
business strategies into leading people practices and processes to create
an effective organization.

This leadership position requires exceptional interpersonal,
facilitation, and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work
collaboratively with all levels of the organization.

In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not
limited to):
*Partner with business managers to define, develop and implement HR
programs to support the business needs of the organization. Translate
business strategies into HR initiatives and actions.
*Proactively provide expert counsel, coaching and direction on people
issues by assisting managers with developing, coaching, training,
disciplining and terminating employees. Ensure proper handling of
investigations and terminations based on company practices and policy.
*Responsible for people policy development, communication and
compliance.
*Handles all HR policy inquires for assigned client groups. Administer
approved policies and practices within client group covering several
areas including recruiting, compensation and benefits, training,
employee relations, safety and organization development.
*Deliver and communicate companywide HR programs and initiatives, such
as: performance management, compensation and people planning, employee
relations, training, legal compliance, internal communications, and
other HR projects within the client groups.
*Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
*Act as a first point of contact to line managers and provide HR
generalist support to the organization.
*Provide support in all areas of employee relations.
*Quickly resolve employee questions, inquiries and complaints or direct
them to the appropriate parties.
*Partner with local management on a regular basis to handle and address
local HR needs and inquiries.
*Work with local management and MDD to determine development needs and
help coordinate plan and conduct approved management training.
*Other duties and projects as assigned.

*The ideal candidate will have a minimum 7 years of HR experience, with
at least 3 years as a generalist, in a fast-paced high-tech
environment.
*Extensive knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures, current
HR practices and trends.
*Must be approachable and effective with ability to influence change
across all levels of the organization in an effective manner. Excellent
customer service skills.
*Strong HR consulting and coaching skills.
*Understanding of broad HR functional areas.
*Ability to learn quickly and understand the people aspects of business
strategy and objectives.
*Experience working in a complex matrixed organization.
