What you get to do every day

* Define and execute end to end strategic product marketing plans
to ensure product launch successes that meet the goals and objectives
that drive Trion´s business objectives for new MMO games
* Work cross-functionally with product management, user experience
and design, business development, PR and finance and other key
stakeholders to analyze and action initiatives and launch campaigns with
coordinated messaging, creative and associated business metrics
* Oversight of design and implementation of all aspects of
marketing campaigns, including packaging, advertising, documentation, and
collateral material
* Additional responsibilities include product positioning and
customer segmentation, competitive analysis, and internal/external
* Define overall strategy and roadmap for specific product releases
* Strategically propose technologies and define product
requirements based on a good understanding of targeted users, competitive
landscape, and broadband requirements
* Identify strategic partners to help develop co-marketing
opportunities and solutions
* Work with business development teams to negotiate the terms
* Publish product definition and functionality requirement
* Analyze data, trends and client performance, develop solid
strategic sales plans and prepare and conduct strategic pitches and sales
* Responsible for supporting events, viral marketing, promotions,
entertainment marketing, co-branding partnerships for key retailers
* Interface directly with senior-level marketing, product
management, engineering and PR staff Partner with sales management teams to
identify key strategic initiatives
* Lead audience development among key target segments and develop
and manage programs to identify, target, reward and retain high-value
* Successfully manage product lifecycle marketing programs to drive
migration of current user base to next-generation product and/or
premium offering
* Develop forecasts, manage and track results of in-product
messaging and identify areas for improvement through ongoing optimization and
* Work with international external vendors to ensure programs are
launched coordinated globally
* Be able to lead cross-functional teams of people to execute key
initiatives and be accountable to senior leadership for team´s results
* Work closely with PR agency to provide strong strategic and
creative direction to ensure breakthrough and effective campaigns
* Monitor consumer feedback to ensure that product is in sync with
market expectations

What you bring to the job in your professional toolkit

* BS/MS in Marketing or Computer Science
* MBA strongly desired and a minimum of 6+ years experience in a
comparable Product Marketing role (product management / marketing /
planning) in an entertainment/game company
* Experience with a successful launch of at least one commercially
recognizable game title
* Definition, design and implementation of marketing programs in at
least two of the following areas: direct/email marketing, online
advertising, search engine optimization, viral marketing, brand management,
global campaign scope
* Experience with sales, agency, brand marketing, event marketing
and promotions required
* Proven experience marketing products for handheld devices and
PDA´s, mobile consumer electronics is highly desired
* Relevant product marketing experience with MMO´s
* Able to drive technical, marketing, and business issues to
formulate solution proposals
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to lead
cross-functional teamwork
* Market research, competitive analysis skills, and strategic
thinking ability
* Experience with video production, online and viral marketing,
creation of sizzle reels and trailers, online publishing, interactive
media, video games, traditional media or management consulting
* Strong aptitude for determining optimal product positioning and
developing marketing strategies in a consumer facing environment
* Talent for translating buzz into a strategic well defined branded
* Experience in sales, agency, brand marketing, event marketing and
promotions required
* A track record of influence to the product development process
through customer insights and translating user needs into product
requirements and marketing strategies
* Can thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing and highly competitive
* Direct experience launching consumer web-based products or
services and managing broad-reach consumer marketing campaigns
* Strong analytical skills and passion for interpreting and
translating quantitative and qualitative data into consumer insights
* Service based organization mindset
* Strong organization and project management skills, ability to
manage through changing priorities and adhere to deadlines while willing
to implement down to the smallest details
* Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, including
advanced documentation and report writing
* Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and be able to
develop strong relationships with internal and external parties,
executives, engineers, vendors and peers
* Excellent knowledge of PC tools to include Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, email and a strong understanding of internet technology
