Designation- VP- Product development( Analytics)
Job Location: Bangalore
The Product leader is responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with design teams, to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product leader’s job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals
Type of Experience: Experience in building global, customer-facing analytical solutions across multiple verticals/ functions. Configuration of solutions encompassing analytical/ logical architecture along with IT components, based on market and competitive analysis.
Key Accountabilities/ Job Description
1. Define the product strategy and roadmap
2. Lead a 15-20 member product development team comprising analytical experts, IT developers, and market research resources.
3. Coordinate analytics product development efforts across multiple verticals (financial services, life sciences, industrial) and functions (risk, marketing, MIS/ reporting, research)
4. Provide thought leadership towards building best-in-class analytical algorithms/ routines.
5. Identify and manage external vendors as required to build various solution components.
6. Partner with Marketing/ BD organization to take solutions to market.
Required Skills:
* MBA/ Masters in Economics, Statistics with minimum 10 years experience in Analytics/ consulting
* Ability to derive a compelling customer value proposition based on a synthesis of existing organization capabilities.
* Benchmark best-in-class solutions and identify development efforts required to build a marketable solution.
* Strong project management skills to coordinate development efforts and interface with other teams/ external parties.
* Very strong analytical skills with a ‘solutions’ mindset.
* Strong communicator with ability to get buy-in from internal/ external stakeholders.
